Environment Policy

It is the policy of EGT INT DMCC to ensure our operating procedures and practices avoid adverse impacts on the environment. Management commitment to this environmental policy is an integral part of the company’s philosophy and is demonstrated through various training and consultation.

To ensure compliance with this policy, we conform to appropriate legislation, regulations, and best practices and monitor and review our environmental objectives and the environmental impact of our repair and servicing operations.

We strive for continual improvement, prevention of pollution, and elimination of unnecessary waste. Furthermore, it is our policy, whether repairing equipment, or providing rental service, either on the company’s behalf or the client’s requests, to complement and enhance, where possible, through commercially viable methods, the environment in which we operate to provide products and services.

The company is committed through its policy of continual improvement to endeavor to improve its performance, particularly in the prevention of pollution, and meet all the contractual requirements of its clients.

EGT INT DMCC conducts business in a manner that does not harm people or the environment, and facilitates this commitment through the Integrated Management System (Q and HSE) which includes measurable goals and objectives towards the prevention of pollution by:

• Effective segregation of waste during the service processes and use of safe storage and disposal techniques.
• Review of the existing services (repair and servicing of equipment) to minimize the impact on the environment.
• Visible senior management commitment, effective communication, and training to ensure environmental protection.
• Compliance with appropriate legislation, regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Periodic audits and reviews of the integrated management system and review of its performance. Providing appropriate resources to ensure this policy is documented, implemented, and maintained.

This policy is available to all employees and the public.
